Still on 2.0... I was assuming that they were just DoS'd from too many users, now I am betting they had a problem with the 3.0 download page and have a bunch of guys working on code as we speak.

No joy yet.. it's been Slashdotted! ;-)

Hmmm... Seems hideously insecure to me. So anyone who has physical access to your computer can get at a minimum your online email, and at a maximum your online banking passwords with a couple of clicks?

As to the ACTUAL topic of this thread, this CTRL-TAB addon is really nicely done. Not sure it adds a lot of useful functionality as the tabs are right there at the top of your screen with the names and favicon on them, but if like the paradigm of Vista's Aero window switching or the "Switcher" utility for both XP and

Why would you do that? It's not exactly like skipping buying an expensive video card because a new one is coming out in a couple of months. Firefox is free, and the 3.0 version is miles better than 2.x

I weigh addons with a quick mental formula that takes into account how useful they are vs. the added load time and memory usage of Firefox. While I am aware that this small addon adds so little to either that I would be hard pressed to tell any difference, if I installed every "marginally useful" addon that came

Not sure I see this one a anything earth-shaking with Firefox 3, as pretty much everything it does is built in to Firefox. The big (maybe only) difference is that you can drop text and urls and pictures anywhere on the page, instead of having to spend an extra 3 or 4 milliseconds to drop them on either the search bar

It would be nice if there was more progress on updates to some of the nicer themes as well. I like the new button style for previous/next (I know some don't), and would love to see some of the better themes for 2.x updated.

I just installed the Tabmix Plus dev build. Seems to work fine. Thanks for the heads up Mr_Odwin.

Running it now... Don't see any visible difference of course, but it seems to work fine.

Yeah, it's the little things that they have learned after years of XP that are now part of Vista (like the cookie-crumb navigation, this feature, tons of others) that makes Vista a keeper for me.
