I drive 500 miles a week for the past 15 years, fortunately in company cars. Top choice is Camry drivers but it’s spread to other Toyota sedans and crossovers in time. Their purchase decision was based on Consumer Reports or getting the most car for the money.

Speed is less of an issue than speed difference between vehicles. Hauling ass at 40 over in increasing traffic means a driver glancing in their rear view mirror when changing lanes will never see you.

While I agree completely. Our entire American way of life is about excess. We drive gigantic off-road trucks, and fast cars because of the image that is presents. Advertising sells based on emotions and what could be, not what we actually need.

This would make a nice piece in a future EV collection of defunct brands.  You'll have to wait 20 years before it's worth anything.  Certainly nowhere near 300k.

I’m impressed by the engineering but I can’t imagine it has any long lasting reliability.

While 25k isn’t a lot to recoup it happens even quicker if you calculate all the fuel, energy and raw materials it takes to turn crude oil into gasoline then transported into convenient gas stations across the US.

The right form of vandalism for a Cybertruck would be to spray paint a swastika on it. It sends the message and only a slight nuisance to remove from stainless steel.

I’d have to say swivel 2nd row seats in large SUVs and minivans. Only the Chrysler T&C had this as well as the non-US Kia EV9. It seems like a no-brainer to allow for flexible interior seating in 3 row vehicles.

Amazing! Sounds like 2 inline 6's. Similar in tone to the Honda RC166 race bike. Honda is the undisputed king of “small and mighty” engines throughout time.

Looks are subjective but I think it looks infinitely better than the current Y which looks like a blowfish.

While I agree the XM is an abomination. It was a test bed for the drivetrain for the new M5. Which is still terrible.

The irony isn’t lost on me.  I totally get it but after a totally brutal leg day workout it is nice not to have to hobble across the far end of the parking lot.

I have it on my wife’s car. I use it when grocery shopping, leaving the gym, at the mall and when it rains. There’s nothing like calling the car while you’re heading out of the building and it’s right at the front door.

This story is like the JDM version of the little old lady in the US who drives a Mustang or Camaro. I wonder though how many still rowed their own gears?

I’m in the car business. Most dealers have up to a week to bring back used cars if there’s an issue. The fact that this guy wanted to return the car hours later and the dealership wasn’t willing to assist is definitely a shitty move. The dealer woudn’t have processed any paperwork in that amount of time.

I saw a Volvo C70 a few days ago and the styling still holds up. They made them through 2013 and can be had for less than $15k.

Say goodbye to Team GasGas. I highly doubt they’ll be running 4 bikes. Pedro Acosta is very promising and will land on his feet somewhere else if KTM drops completely but Maverick will definitely be sweating.

Whoever buys this kit is doing it only doing it for bragging rights. They will memorize and regurgitate the stats and specs to anyone within earshot while never getting near the performance thresholds.

I didn’t know it was that common of an occurrence.  Good to know.  Thanks

Yeah, that Prime series was pretty bad. I remember when it came out there was no dub and only subtitles. Then they fixed it after a week or so.
