The day before Donny is meeting with Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister. A man who is coincidentally named in the Steele dossier on Russian influence over Trump.

Fuck Ben Stein. He’s a total arrogant asshole that loves to make catty comments about strangers around him, and he does it loud enough for everyone to hear. By pure luck he got famous and he’s a fucking idiot to boot.

Same, I found the respite of her presence the last few weeks to be incredibly rejuvenating.

I usually don’t watch clips with her because I know they’ll make me have a rage stroke but I just watched this one and all I can say is call 911, my head is exploding.

I agree. But it seems a shame that we, like Egypt, might have to rely on the military to bail us out. Lo, how the mighty have fallen. And all at the hands of some balding, two-faced KGB stooge!

Let’s hope it lasts.

I hope you’re right. My fear is that the American people are rapidly becoming desensitised to criminal acts in government. Each additional one does not seem to strengthen the last but to weaken it. And Trump is triumphant and amazed at how much he has managed to evade any standard or legality. And continues to do so.

Word on Twitter is grand juries were empaneled and were sending subpoenas and Comey was giving intel through an accerlerated court after Trump told Comey to stop the grand juries or he would be fired. He wasn’t surprised.

That happened to me. I took a three hour nap once and when I woke up everyone was sad because Michael Jackson had died. It’s silly but you really do feel like a displaced cave person or something.

My headcanon is that he was their secret weapon:

I got an Apple Watch for my birthday in January. I don’t fully understand how it works (I turned 30 so I guess that’s a thing now) but I now get news alerts (that I didn’t set up) from the Washington Post only on my wrist and it has a very specific vibration which has induced in me a Pavlovian response of unbelievable

Wait, are you saying the Attorney General, his deputy (who’s on the job less than two weeks) and the President didn’t wake up this morning and suddenly realize Comey was totally unfair to Hillary Clinton and they just had to fire him ‘cause he was such a meany to her?

Apparently, he’s appearing in a closed session with Congress to testify on Thursday.

No problem, we all react to big news like this differently.

I’m sorry if I was short, initially, and I appreciate your kind words, Adrastra; you know I feel the same about you. 🍃

I’ve never seen a group of people so mad they won an election.

And now they’ve subpoena’d Flynn. Shit is going down.

Thank you. And that is an important piece: the military in Egypt during the Arab Spring provided an excellent example of neutrality and civic order in the midst of turmoil. It didn’t last forever but was invaluable in those first days.

Yea, basically they want to talk about the campaign all the time and how they won it miraculously (or like through a technicality or w.e) but they hate it when it’s used to talk about the Russian connection or point out that Donald Trump will change his mind any damn time he likes. Like she literally brought up the

Push comes to shove, I don’t think the military will side with Trump. The IC certainly hasn’t, and the military seems to take the whole ‘Constitution, not President’ oath very seriously.
