I played the fuck out of Tactics a few times when I picked it up on the Vita. That is one of my all-time favorite games hands down. Not just RPGs or tactics type games but just any and all. I would actually put it very close to Beyond Good and Evil which I consider the perfect video game.

Awesome! Got an S5 though. Guessing that’s still a good call. Consider the trigger pulled.

Dimensions is a fucking amazing Final Fantasy game. It’s just what you would want out of the best SNES Final Fantasy. On top of having amazing old-school game play it’s got one of the best Final Fantasy story lines I’ve ever played, in my opinion.

But not a mod though right? A completely standalone game if I’m not mistaken. Although it being completely free, your fanfiction analogie still stands true.

Okay, that I completely understand. I also understand that they would have had to fight it in court and even if they would have come out on top, that it would have cost them very likely tens of thousands of dollars.

So why exactly did they believe or do they believe that Star Wars falls under fair use? It’s a property as a whole owned by Disney / lucasfilm and an IP for the time being owned by EA. I’m just curious what led them to believe that the Star Wars Universe was fair use for what is essentially a competing video game?

As silky smooth as your voice is, it's making it ridiculously hard to masturbate.

This all could have very easily been avoided. If only this man would have done what any upstanding citizen should have done, which is stayed inside his house and called the police.

While I am absolutely not trying to come across as sounding curt, this modder just seems to be a bit too full of himself. It’s almost as if Bethesda from now to eternity would not have been able to have robots involved in a murder mystery without this guy thinking that he is being ripped off. From what I’ve read he’s

Absolutely everything that you said is true. He is completely ethically in the wrong. But unfortunately he is 100% legally in the right. You can say that he shouldn’t have taken advantage of the team the way he did, and I would agree, but he was totally legally able to do so. I would certainly hope that if he can find

Exactly. That’s the one and only good thing to come of this, experience. It’s terrible that they had to lose everything to learn this lesson but at least it's a lesson learned.

What would have saved this project is to not give him exclusive rights to his art assets in the game. I don’t see how you could do that for anyone. Give them ownership because technically it is theirs. But protect your game in saying something along the lines of, no existing game assets can be stripped from said game.

Sounds like a plan. I only play on PC now since it just started to make more sense than having three different gaming consoles. I’ve had a few good multiplayer experiences. I’ve just recently started playing Evolve online since it’s gone free to play and I’ve found quite a fair bit of friendly cooperation there. But

I’ve expressed the same exact sentiment here many times. I can certainly enjoy hopping on a multiplayer game with some close friends for a good time. But mostly gaming for me, is absolutely escapism. It’s a time for me to live another life and go to other exotic places I could never hope to visit. So for the life of

Wow, just...wow. you would think in such a giant game with such a giant player base that there would be some way to toggle that off and on. That’s not just an oversight, that’s a gross oversight buy supposedly the most gamer friendly Corporation out there. I have to say that I am genuinely shocked that you found no

Oh wow. Okay that definitely clears it up quite a bit. So basically all the team needed to do was report you and blizzard took them at their word and immediately took action? There has to be a better system in place than that. I can only imagine how often a group of dicks screws someone over that doesn’t deserve it.

That’s just what I was thinking. Not that I have any reason not to believe the OP. But it just seems to me that there would have to be more done to prove an actual infraction for a 24-hour voice ban. If I were the OP I would certainly find out any and all information available to make sure that something like this

Absolutely could not have said it better myself.

Okay well that does make sense then. I mean, should we take it as a good sign that they were able to stabilize the frame rate and make it look decidedly better for the backwards compatible release? I guess more than anything I was really just hoping that this would be a step in the right direction toward having

Yeah I still have it on the ps3 but what would really excite me is also running it at 60 fps in 4k. I just over all imagine a western Witcher 3 ya know? Of course I should be saying that the Witcher 3 is just a fantasy Red Dead. But even if it weren’t totally remastered but just upscaled, it would look phenomenal.
