But what about the one where Barclay evolves into a spider? Evolution totally works like that.

Quick, somebody call Jim Hines and John Scalzi.

I always made my Blacktron 2 guys good, and fight the evil Blacktron 1 guys.

It's hard to characterize them with a few emotional terms. I've always found them to be...mercurial.

My first thought...

Yeah, I know where it's from. It might have been funny the first several hundred times people replied to Europa articles with that quote, but it's really not any more.

It depends how their equivalent of the crew-escape system works.

And it's complete crap, too...Europa is one of two or three places where we could know of the existence of extraterrestrial life - so screw HAL, what are we waiting for?!

I think Charlie picked the perfect example for the page header. The Borg were terrifying as a Collective, and mildly annoying when they were a Queen.

I will happily spend my time playing new X-Wing games.

No, say it in Russian!

Yes! Dragon's Egg is fantastic.

I know what you mean! I did that with Blade Runner.

Well said. Props.

He did the math. You try it and see what you get before you call him names.

I suppose perhaps in the first two thousand-page books, somebody mentions the Sleeping God once or twice. And I know they set out to find the device at some point in the third book. But really, there's no indication that it actually exists/actually is the solution to all the problems. It's a total shot in the dark.

The other series I mentioned don't have the weird undead thing, if that's what turned you off him.
