Vinnie is definitely a small doses sorta character (same with D*ck but he should really have been in the 2nd half of this season considering who one of the villains is).

Don’t forget the incredible Charisma Carpenter as his con-artist step-mom who got shot in that cabin in the woods at the start of season 3.

Tell me its not an unrealistic upheaval in older people’s lives? And thr narrator dropped a hint that Alba didn’t have that long left later in the episode during the wedding ceremony.

Orange is a mixed bag of light & dark moments just from the sheer volume of characters being juggled. Ends well for some & tragically for others.

The OG run of Gilmore Girls dropped a Netflix reference a couple of times (airing during the disc days) but it sounds like they’re talking about the streaming service that would follow (where the discs lead...).

Orange is the new black being the other show?

I thought it’d be somwthing more underplayed like her tripping in the dark & breaking a hip, creating a new source of guilt for Xo & Jane. Needless to say, be glad i wasnt a writer on the show!

There would've been a couple hours a day in the prosthetics chair to add the jowls/chins & beard surely?

I’ve listened to the book - it’s alright for source material but its certainly something that could be improved upon and tweaked - it smacks of conventional fantasy in many places with all the associated tropes . I don’t see it getting a direct adaptation like Harry potter but more of a Lev Grossman’s Magicians

That Santa franchise?

Carbon-dated.

Well since she’s no longer Gifted i hope she’s a recurring character they can up to series regular in later seasons.

Dushku's about to have a baby so I don't think she'll be popping up in season 1. Hopefully if there's a season 2 though... (although she's attached to another fantasy series The Black company as The Lady and executive producer)

Still a good show, but yeah not a faithful adaptation (though love that the opening sequence is done by the comic artist)

Yeah teen Logan would’ve bribed somebody else to do it for him.

Was really scared in that final episode that it'd end without Marco or Star being able to see one another ever again.

The 2nd half of Unlimited season 1 i found to be the weakest. & if they ever brought it back for a single ep I’d want them to give Creeper his chance to shine as JL member (though it was nice he got included in both the pilot & finale in the background)

I’ll never be happy with how they treated the Captain in the final episode or Jake as a consequence of that.

Yes to Timeless! “Let’s get Rufus!”

Both Warehouse 13 & Eureka (connected via a shared universe) had great final seasons. I love that W13 went clipshow with original material we’d never seen (the tap dance number is a highlight) but i wish we’d gotten to see Mrs Fredderick’s flashback. Eureka was bonkers til the end but nailed it by closing the time
