Calorie counts can be surprising. A chicken and avocado salad at Cheesecake Factory runs you 1,870 calories. Sure, the portion is huge, but you’d save 300-500 calories by opting for a pizza instead.

Resources and burden, I assume. Chain restaurants generally have hashed out their supply chain, receive consistent ingredients, normalized prep/portioning, and have the resources to hire someone to do the number crunching (though I would still allow for a relatively wide margin of error).

I’m glad to see them. It’s nice to have the information and be able to make an informed decision, especially when you’re trying to change your lifestyle.

When was the last time you actually drank a beer? Most of the world class beers these days are only available in cans. Ever hear of Heady Topper? As has been mentioned, a can is a much better vessel for holding beer than glass in just about every way.

Actually a lot of very excellent craft beers come exclusively in cans. Cans protect beer from light, and therefore protect it from going bad. These are also modern lined cans that no longer impart any taste like older cans do.

You should perhaps consider moving someplace else.
