This might sound like a crazy theory, but I always assumed the Virage simply became the facelifted DB9 (aside from some suspension or drivetrain tuning).

I actually appreciate that they took a leap here, because the existing models are pretty boring. Even the new A6/A7/A8 have little more than wide mouths.

At the same time, it could be hard to drop a brand that makes up so much of the powerful parent company’s name.

You put business in quotes (or asterisks, for some reason), but THAT is the problem. It is a business, but Saban and the NCAA won’t admit that.

Is this sufficiently special?

Brian McCann blocked the plate.

Your best content should always be in your resume. And if you have had a career of over 10 years or so, there’s no harm in going over 1 page.

Many times the cover letter is never seen, and what you have accomplished is going to impress most. Why hold back your best content?

Fair. But a software engineer could have written code that improved software efficiency by, say, 25%. Or a PR person who reduced press release publishing time from 1 to 2 days.

Yes, Mini was no-doubt revitalized during the retro-boom, but the design is definitely no longer retro. It’s evolved sufficiently from the cars of the early naughties to be decidedly modern.

I disagree. I had an MkVI GTI and replaced it with a Clubman in large part because of the interior. Not only do I like the design of my Mini more (I’m over all-black interiors), but it feels more high quality as well. It’s much closer to an entry-level BMW than a GTI.

I have a 2017 Clubman as well. It’s very refined; basically an entry-level BMW (the interior materials are the same as those on my wife’s X1). But it’s also a fairly unique design on the road, and it’s fun to drive. Yes, it’s the Maxi-Mini, but I appreciate those other features that make a Mini a Mini.

On the contrary. Chevy now has a car as small as a MINI.

Fair. I was referring to models that Mercedes and AMG collaborated on, which started in the 90s.

Nope. There’s never been an AMG model with a manual transmission.

It is.

I’m into it. Interior looks great, I think.

It’s a protected lane. Yield doesn’t mean stop in a case like this.

And the Mini Clubman.

That headline isn’t misleading at all!
