@UDMan: Sorry dude, but this is ridiculous. If a family can't live off $65k, put the wife ont he assembly line and you're up to $130k. On my own, I live with $50k a year, so it's doable.
I'll harp on what others have said. The UAW is a relic of years past. Times have changed, and if you're not needed, you're let go. It's how things roll these days. The pensions and retiree benefits are the most absurd thing ever.
I have an interesting counter-question. If somehow Toyota went under (and we all know it never will), is there a single Toyota model (still in production) that would be missed?

WOW! I can't believe how completely unsympathetic everyone here is. Of course all the fake psychologists are coming out, but what if there actually is something wrong with him? How can you not feel bad for the guy?
I just heard that PTI is being retaped. I'm listening to Dan Le Batard's radio show (he hasn't joined yet as he's doing PTI), and he just called in and said that after the trades all changed at the last second, ESPN called him back to retape the show. ESPN's got to plan better.
I'm with JAMMQ on this one. Sports talk can be so boring at times. Honestly, I love sports, but I can't listen to people talking about it all the time. Le Batard's show is different! Sure, there's not a lot of sports talk, but I'm ok with that.
He's "Hateable" because he speaks against the norm. But he's really a great writer.
A recent article on InsideLine said that it'd be an SL63 Black Series, with the V8 instead of the V12 (I can't find the article now). I would agree that it'd be more likely to be the V8 since the current SL63 is being sold as the more badass of the two AMGs.
