Adore all things Castlevania, but Portrait of Ruin felt meh and DoS made you use the shitty touchscreen system that halted the gameplay. OoE was neat thought - all the callbacks to Simon’s Quest were refreshing.

Just replayed this a couple of months ago. The DS version has some nice additional sidequests. Also, that bit with Lucca’s mother is dark as hell - how did they sneak that into a snes game in the 90's?
