Nah, take my word for it: the difference is almost as big as taking a pic with a chinese generic brand camera and a brand named one. At least if you compare say... an iPhone 5 with a 808 (my current cellphone, which has the same sensor from 1020).
Given that from the iPhone 4 upwards, daylight pics are pretty decent.…

i have to disagree with ya there. these photos seem more detailed with shallower depth of field and a wider field of view. also, xenon flash and manual controls.

It should be noted that iOS devices won't properly show off these full resolution images in a web browser because Safari will downsample them to save RAM.
