I actually like Trubbish! It’s kind of an ugly-cute Pokemon (though its evolution, Garbodor, is just plain ugly). When people use it as a complaint about “new Pokemon designs” (it’s from Gen 5- Black and White is around a decade old), I just have to sigh at that. I mean, if you have to use a 10+ year old Pokemon to

Believe it or not, Trubbish has a large fan following that think they’re adorable. It is likely that it wouldn’t keep that following if it were real, but many, many fans find the little bag of trash cute AF.

I never really got why people got so upset about Trubbish (and the ice cream Pokémon, Vanilluxe). We’ve always had inanimate object Pokémon, and frankly Trubbish is a lot more creative than some of the original 151. I really like these guys. They know what they’re about.

Literally nothing they are doing is against twitch policies. If you don't like it, don't watch.

From an outsider it appears to me that this is one of the parts of Twitch that isn’t shit because it’s far less toxic and isn’t just a generic white dude ranting about something while they sometimes play a video game. You really think the platform is that great outside of this? Also, this stuff is in a completely

Oh buzz off, loser. Twitch has been about live-streaming from the chat, and has been about appealing to audiences for what they’re looking like from the start. It began as a live-streaming IRL site, they added video games, and it has moved back and forth being about videogames and about chatting about art and music,

“How am I supposed to keep my audience if I don’t have breasts and can’t say racial slurs?”

If only you had tits. The world would just be so easy for you.

Nothing rejuvenates me like the tears of entitled male streamers who believe that they’d just be on easy street if their wacky streaming antics or supreme gaming talent didn’t have to compete with the modern innovation of... (checks notes) PG-13 grade sexual titillation

To take this question WAY to seriously: probably lack of access to a (private) pool for streaming, dealing with outdoor lighting and streaming.

The fact that toxic fuck xQc is so popular even after being kicked off of his pro Overwatch team for being racist really doesn’t speak well for humanity.

He added that “we should be fostering unity to come together and heal—not division. The question is how?”

Add “critical race theory” to list of things that Republicans love to scream about but haven’t bothered to actually research. See also; 1984, socialism, freedom of speech.

Yeah, “don’t see race” was a reasonable response to widespread, individual, outspoken racism. But the problem is it does nothing to address structural racism - even if everyone “stopped seeing race” tomorrow, all the institutional racism would still be there.

“the dominant ideology of America’s public institutions”- Lol, this line right here lets you know the guy is full of it. This is not, and never has, been true, but racism was the dominant ideology of America’s public institutions for the vast majority of this country’s history.

I just love that pointing out the ways systemic racism and inequality have and continue to affect the lives of so many people (myself included) has been equated to fostering division.

Its really not. People in general have a bad concept of calories and how much eating outweighs excercise. A 10k run will burn ~600 calories. That’s two slices of pizza. TWO.

Right? If you’re going to trigger a major outbreak within your borders you might as well wait until the rest of the world has sent their best athletes so they can all bring it home with them.

Literally everyone paying attention called it.

I notice he changed his diet which was probably about 90% of the work. That said the body strength workout everyday like that is definetly good for toning
