Yeah, I think that was a mistake mentioning Portrait of a Lady on Fire. Sure, story may be similar, but everything else is very different, as you noted. This trailer is criticizing films about queer characters that are made by and for hetero males and their fantasies.

Because it is mocking these films made by dudes and starring straight actresses, and the first example they list is a film made by an openly queer woman…
