You’re totally right about how untucked tends to cast queens in different lights than what’s edited on the show.

Oh yeah, I’d say in hindsight it seems especially obvious considering how Yvie was treated in the reunion vs. Brooke.
I’m glad you brought up the track record. Not that the LSFTC format—which I’m tired of—ever meant it matters at this point, but they really could have set Yvie up better than only one win (and a co-win, at that) with the last episode. It’s not like she murdered the lip synchs like Sasha in S9, and even then it caused…
I actually preferred the movie montages compared to the longer on-stage interviews, which were always awkward. I thought it allowed the queens to have more fun rather than a bunch of “I’m just going to leave it all on the stage Ru”-like answers.
“Sometimes that works out (hey, Inside Out, Coco, and the first 10 minutes of Up), and sometimes it definitively doesn’t (hey The Good Dinosaur, and the other 86 minutes of Up).”
Ah yes, poor “real America” getting over represented in the EC compared to those stupid cities where...millions of people live and work, I guess?
I don’t think that’s entirely true. There are plenty of claims online of people losing their entire bank after their subscription lapsed. You apparently have a set period of time to renew or withdraw, but past that time they can be deleted. TPC has never given details on how long for whatever reason.
No he wasn’t. For both Obergefell (and Windsor, for that matter) it was Anthony Kennedy.
What happened to her is actually much more understandable and regular than people would care to admit. That they become so sure of their own superiority they are willing to do things that on the outside are otherwise terrible but internally justify those actions in search of a greater good.
I think my least favorite are all the people who got caught up in being #TeamSomeone and apparently invested all their enjoyment of the show into what they want for their favorite character(s). Like you, I can’t say if GoT is the first fandom this has happened to, but I know I don’t like it.
I don’t think *nearly* as many people care how Walking Dead ends. The last season of GoT has pulled in around twice as many viewers over their respective final two seasons or so...
It seems like there was a decent enough time jump between Jon killing Dany and Brans election to king that winter decidedly ended. Not only was it sunny with no snow in Kings Landing, but they hinted at it more with grass growing even on the other side of the Wall.
Wasn’t there a discussion in an earlier untucked episode about that? And then Raja turned it into “actually skinny girls are discriminated”? I might be misremembering how that went.
Seasons 6-8 had a top 4 music video and then cut the bottom person (after everyone “lip synched” to a Ru song) and the top 3 declared safe.
I would argue that there just wasn’t any need for a lip synch other than to milk the Branjie storyline. Previous top 3/4 cuts have been done just based on Ru’s whim, and Vanjie clearly had the worst overall track record and consistently negative critiques this week.
I’ve been sleeping on Yvie with her recent flops, but this was a great time for her to come through again. She should have been given a win this week to even them up heading into the finale.
Right, but kriging has some limitations with extrapolation because it’s still inherently based in interpolation...
I’m not an expert in geospatial analysis by any means, but I’d like to hear an argument for why kriging would be useful to this study...
...I think you’re reading too far into this...or your joke is just bad.
Well, I’m assuming it’s tongue-in-cheek a comment from Mr. Dense...because the “And he’s not even DONE yet.” quote right afterwards pretty clearly indicates that Dr. Stokes was impressed that a policy document read like a masters thesis.
