I know this isn’t the point, but also, what does he think the MoA looks like? Does he think it’s just one big building with no delineation between different stores? Because the analogy doesn’t make any sense.

Considering he got accepted just by tweeting at NYU, I don’t think it matters anyways.

Agree with pretty much all of this. I was a bit surprised by the inconsistencies in judging, particularly when certain queens where told their last look wasn’t “monster enough” and yet Brooke and Yvie got heaps of praise about some, frankly, gimmicky first looks and then bombed the MILF look themselves. It comes

Tea from Reddit (grain of salt) said that her Masters was from a program she essentially paid for and that she is doing the same for her PhD.

Silky’s win was very forced. I didn’t find her Oprah to be a particularly good impression at all. And dear god, my political science professor partner was half-listening in the background and cringed when she talked about registering republican to change gerrymandering. That’s not how it works, girl! Hope you learn

Calling climate change “important” and something “we have to be addressing and we are addressing,” Wheeler nevertheless claimed that right now the EPA is more focused on the issue of clean drinking water, which he said is “a crisis that I think we can solve.”

There was a recent paper which (IIRC) suggested anti-vaxx beliefs tended to be from people who fell into the Dunning-Kruger camp (i.e. “I think I know more than I do”) vs. beliefs like climate change denial which is better explained by partisan identity.

Gah, sorry. I meant KJo, not SJP.

That’s fair. I felt that the drama of Manila’s elimination (and the ridiculously overdramatic rock, paper, scissors) made a great start...but after that main challenges and a drab runway, I was completely tuned out by deliberation time.

The other problem with the scripted challenges is that, unless they do so poorly to edit around, the roles pretty much telegraph how well a queen could place. Because no amount of acting could have placed any roles but SJP and Kim in the top this week...

Yeah, I very much disagree with this rating because this was a boring as hell episode. Like, scripted acting challenges are almost always a scattering of cringey puns or references that fall flat, and the acting can be an absolute train wreck (Shakesqueer)...but even compared to the last several this one was just DULL.

Between UKS and Crazy-Ex both doing “Cats” episodes, I feel confident that it’s the one musical I am ok never seeing...

Yeah, I liked Latrice’s runway because it was so different for her but...I don’t think she was top 2 based on the club challenge, and her win was only because Trinity did well *that* during the lip sync.

Macho Man and Love Shack, too

Nathaniel has never really been my favorite, but when he started tearing up in the restaurant and his voice cracked, it felt...so sincere and heartbreaking.
