Having grown up in Minnesota, this is 100% true. I remember going to Twins games and realizing there were more black people on the field than in the stands... (maybe that’s a testament to how empty the metrodome was?)

Well said - I parted ways with my (inherited from the Wife) '04 jetta recently as the repair costs were becoming too frequent and expensive. The car only had a hair over 100,000 but the 11 years of coastal living was too much for many rubber and metal components. I loved how it looked very modern though given its age
