Just got my first car with voice command (2016 Volvo V60) and have used it sparingly. My “problem” is that I don’t drive very long distances, so things that would generally require voice commands (nav, radio adjustments, etc.) aren’t needed. I envision myself using the feature much more when I’m on a road trip or in

Plus one for the “capri-sun” reference

No no no, see that still has those "fake" gauges!

Nope nope nope. I have a new V60 and love the digital display that offers me a variety of looks including a large digital speedo read-out in sport mode as well as a traditional "gauge" look

Guessing you live in Detroit?

zing. Btw the big bad 0-60 in 6 seconds starts at $43k so it certainly doesn't cost less

Yea you’re showing the UK version with stick and black on black. The post by Engrish makes it look much nicer. Also - I didn’t say it was impressive, just that BMW’s is outdated. The linear 1-9 buttons and the fact that they use the same interior on so many cars drives me nuts - whenever I drive my MIL’s 3 series I’m

Well, it has more interior space, way better visibility and costs less. But same platform, same engine (sadly) and similar styling.

X1 is essentially a wagon and the interiors of the X1 and X3 are so outdated. XC60 is a great vehicle - but might as well wait for the refresh which will be night and day. Subie and CX5 are decent choices if you’re on a budget - but overall nothing offers the off-road-ability that the Disco Sport does (but then again,

Also weighs 600 lbs. more and gets 16/22 mpg

Already answered a similar question but this will get to you directly. I have 26,000 miles on it and nearly 3 years. A few new England road trips (never during winter though) were all very comfortable. I’ve had to replace two tires because of bad flats - but that was circumstance.

Such as...?

Those things are so big, heavy and low. I don't think it compares to an LR if you're actually going to seek "utility" from your CUV/SUV

Good Luck and just remember that the Disco Sport is head and shoulders above your old option - the LR2!

Day to Day I absolutely love it - car like ride, very comfortable, great steering wheel and have done some light off-roading (mostly beach driving) with no problems. The only place where it comes up short (literally) is the rear trunk space which is very limited. It has always “just fit” everything we have carried on

As an Evoque owner who’s brother has a Q5, I would take an Evoque or Disco any day. The Q5 doesn’t feel as “luxury” inside as the Evoque and as Engrish says doesn’t have any sense of off-road-ability. To me it’s much more car-like than the LR’s. The reason I’m switching to a Disco Sport is I want more room for the

It’s been pretty good - can’t speak to other LR products but from horror stories I’ve read on the internet it seems I’m ahead of the game.

Thanks - wish they would just deliver that new engine over here but doesn't look like that will happen

I currently have two leased vehicles (one is up in Oct. and will be replaced by a purchased vehicle). My wife and I need two cars, but don’t drive much (commute to work together 90% of the time). Just traded in my 2003 Jetta because the repairs and future maintenance didn’t make it feasible anymore... got a killer

I was all set to buy a diesel stick wagon from VW. Then dieselgate happened.
