How much time does Jay Leno spend in his or Jerry Seinfeld for that matter?

haha nice. Ahhh, the door handle problem. Thank god you could roll the windows down with the key - that's how I got in my passat for the last year of ownership.

Had a '96 VR6 Passat GLX - the thing had so many electrical problems, needed the dash cluster replaced, lights always coming on and little repairs (broken water pump) required the engine to be lifted out ($$$$$$). Great car, but stupidly unreliable.

What, you expected your electronics to WORK?

Love you articles. A few things:

Leasing is great if you are good with the miles. My brother leased and it worked for awhile, until his job changed and he had to drive way more, so he had to swap cars with his wife (went from diving an A4 to a beat-to-hell Rogue).

When I was buying my last volvo the sales guy was trying to get me to buy the scotchguard crap for the seats, saying that it will be resistant to "blood, vomit, feces" I told him, "If I have those things on my seats, I have WAY bigger problems"

Too bad I can't update my D "over-the-air"

When I got my Evoque (Leased, so screw you reliability!) I got a voucher for a Land Rover Off-road course. The nearest one happened to be an hour from where we were going on vacation in Vermont so we were able to take advantage of it. They put us behind the wheel of beautiful new Range Rover and has us go through

Damn you Doug! Just when I was thinking... "DeMuro hasn't needed a repair in awhile...maybe it's NOT a bad idea to buy a used Landy..."

I work for a Town government and the Tax Receiver has a Prowler in Yellow.

How Much Tavarish?

No worries!
