I’m sure he would, but none of those shows feature people getting beat-up by an aging Lee Van Cleef.

I recall Dead Again being really good, but that was a long time ago.

This has Timothy Van Patten of MST3K’s Ninja Master fame!

The Rambo series is a bit like Dirty Harry, in that the first ones are pretty good, and the sequels are ruined by the filmmakers and actor thinking that the title character was a hero.

And IIRC the sequels leaned into this even more heavily.

Everyone says this is an unofficial remake of Doc Hollywood, when I’d always assumed it was an unofficial sequel to Maximum Overdrive.

They should’ve just scrapped large parts of the third act of Skyfall when they found out they couldn’t get Sean Connery to play the character that ended up being played by Albert Finney.

I think the problem with his Bond is mostly just the problem of any Bond in a modern context. James Bond just doesn’t make sense this far from the Cold War. I like Bond, but he’s less of a character than an aesthetic hitched to a catch-phrase. And the problem with that is that there’s so little to the character that

Probably a riff on the running gag that whenever the Doctor told random Brits he was from Gallifrey, they’d ask if that was in Ireland.

Hard to believe after all these years it’s the fucking Cartmel Master Plan again.

They look like Black Widow’s bracelets.

Christian Bale: Don’t let me find you out here again.

No one mentioned them, so I guess they’re not considered top-tier, but I loved both Incredibles and the sequel Incredibles 2

Saw a coming attraction for this: It was 95% Will Smith’s character in human form, which is probably a bad sign for a movie where (I assume) he spends the majority of his time as a pigeon.

I just watched the original trailer, and TBH it played a lot more straight than I expected. Aside from recognizing that the majority of the cast are comedians/comic actors, I don’t know that you really get “comedy” from it. Or horror either - there’s some light ominousness, but the trailer mostly comes across as an

I think Star Wars is an apt comparison in a lot of ways, not least because of marketing (I was half-expecting a shot of Lil’ Spengler wordlessly holding out the ghost trap to Bill Murray).

And just when Disney+ is launching. Madness.
