It is interesting, now that you mention it, that this is probably the closest thing to a faithful adaptation of a book that's been done, and yet it's also the first time they managed to successfully extricate Bond from the Cold War in a way that made sense.

Pretty much. Though he lacks most of the traditional campaigning skills too.

To some extent, yes. But there is a large component of meritocracy involved in Hollywood success. It's just that the merit involved is not skill in the ostensible job (acting or writing), but skill in marketing yourself.

AAH! TOM SELLECK!

I think I've said this in nearly every Doctor Who article thread, but as near as I can tell, Doctor Who fandom seems to be mostly about hating Doctor Who.

I would like for it to not only be a secret, but to be an actor I'd never heard of/noticed before.

I would be shocked if such a thing did not already exist on Youtube

And then Richard E. Grant. Yes.

But there's nothing in the rulebook that says a car can't play basketball.

Sounds about as legit as the story that Tori Spelling got cast in 902010 based on merit alone because she auditioned under a fake name.

Thank God

Too bad. I like using Soundcloud.

Seems like this is a shortsighted strategy - RW ran with BS about Obama for years and it netted them control of the government.

Al-Sel El-Gort
Clap, Clap, Clap-Clap-Clap

Fair enough. I really liked Mayday though.

Or he could play that one guy with the knife! Or the other one with a knife who's always screaming!

Doctor Doom needs to be in the MCU. He's one of the few characters who could legitimately show up anywhere, going armor-to-armor with Tony Stark, magicking Doctor Strange, Latverian international drama with Cap and Widow, etc.

Shared supporting characters? "Spider-Man: Threat or Menace" on newspaper front pages that they walk past?

Tobey as Kaine, Garfield as Ben Reilly, and Holland as Peter.

I don't know why anyone would want this. The only thing worse than Venom is Carnage. And the only worthwhile thing Carnage ever did was get casually ripped in half by the Sentry. Also one of the few worthwhile things Sentry ever did.
