Especially when you learn that Nermal had her passport taken away immediately and had to build a golf course there.

I bet you liked GoBots too.

I’m mostly fine with this. I don’t watch/read ringer and if I saw a bunch of state farm stuff I’d ignore it. I’ve been with USAA for 2 decades now. I’m not changing.

Then Luke was also built up over three movies. So was Han. It’s a stupid point. It’s called character development.

If you really think Brick, Looper, and The Last Jedi all have “atrocious” writing then there is no point in arguing with you.

nah lol

Again, I don’t think you’re necessarily wrong in your analysis—though, burning enemies who refuse to surrender/submit is categorically different from burning hundreds of thousands of unarmed peasants who’ve already surrendered, and in earlier seasons Daenerys was presented as somebody who regularly insisted on that

Magnolia, Minority Report, War of the Worlds, Eyes Wide Shut, and like four out of six Mission: Impossible movies would like a word.

If there’s ever a company picnic and freelancers are invited, I’ll be sure not to bring it up!

Edge of Tomorrow also has some video-game-y aspects to it, and it’s great.

How to make a good video game movie? Do not base it on any actual video game.

I mean, I’m not disappointed that this isn’t Double Indemnity with Pokemon, but I am a little bummed out that it’s not even half as clever as Zootopia or Rango.

That’s a great vision and I’m very down but has MLS given any hint that that’s the plan?

The problem people are having with MLS is they are not even allowing their business to mature. They’re on a money-grab, expanding with no top-flight talent coming in. Their refusal to partner with USL to develop a legitimate Pro/Rel system further eradicate their credibility in the sport.

Pfft, tell that to the citizens of Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook.

If MLS gave a shit about the soccer, they would have instituted pro/rel instead of simply holding out their hands and screaming “GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE” until every city bigger than Peoria has an MLS team.

Can’t wait to bike over to the rail yard and watch a game in an empty stadium as white women in maroon and gold scarves complain about homeless people. Goddammit.

Preach. However, I’d say Georgia being left out is the same dynamic that occurs in most playoff systems where a strong division or conference can lead to a solid team being left out, or put at a disadvantage (wild card).

I’ve heard they’re working on a fourth version of sambo but I’d rather wait for sambo number 5.
