Has anyone said that?

Is it a crime where this happened, under the circumstances under which it happened, assuming it happened?

Yeah, it’s hella creepy and gross.

It’s not a technicality if there’s no law against it.

I got a community notification for this?

It is indeed a very stupid thread. And I agree. Fuck kinja.

What state’s sexual misconduct statute did he break? Was he in that state at the time?

1. THEYRE THE ONES WHO MADE IT A WIDELY REPORTED ALLEGEATION.

Gawker started a rumor about it, and attributed it to CK.

She said it wasn’t him. I thought we were supposed to believe the survivors. Here, the survivor has explicitly said it’s not Louis ck.

Ironically, a huge circle jerk without Jen kirkman’s consent.

Apparently. I can read what she said, which is that she’s repeating allegations that have been leveled and talked about for years, and that she doesn’t have first hand knowledge about them. That doesn’t require mind reading. It’s normal reading.

Maybe? It depends on the state, circumstances around the incident, etc. Generally, criminal law requires more coercion than Jezebel/Tumblr “law” for something to be a crime. “He whipped it out and I was uncomfortable” probably wouldn’t be enough in most states. As in the famous Jones v. Clinton case, there’s no harm

It’s totally plausible, and if anyone makes an accusation with any degree of specificity, I’ll probably believe it, and, depending on other circumstances (I.e., whether he’s just a creep or a criminal), I’ll probably stop watching his show and his specials.

I would have thought 5 years of unsourced rumors would have also encouraged Louis’s numerous victims. Maybe if we just keep repeating vague rumors that an unnamed comic did unspecified lewd acts for another 50 years someone will come forward.

“These allegations [against Louis C.K.] have been leveled and talked about for years. I do not have first hand knowledge, though have heard women make these allegations.”

It says the accusations were first made by Kirkman. They were not.
