That is true.

1. Republication is republication. It doesn’t matter whether they’re just repeating defamation from somewhere else.

That is not accurate. They probably can’t get sued for defamation because they’re not recklessly publishing false things if it’s reasonable to rely on what tig said. But if it’s not reasonable, then they probably could be.

It’s pretty impressive that they join gizmodo and end up immediately trying to get sued for defamation. (Recklessness probably isn’t actually met here though, but this is partially why gawker media group is now called gizmodo).

You have to believe the survivor, unless the survivor says you’ve got the wrong guy.

Has someone accused Louis CK of a crime?

I’m way more disappointed in the way kinja buries features and reviews than in the comment system.

Wait is AVClub part of gizmodo media group now? I thought you just had the same parent company.

At this point, they all deserve it.

Have you never seen people go back to being around family and the time instantly revert to their old selves? Arya and Stark being childish and dumb with each other is the only thing that's semi-plausible.

Beating the Night King won't matter. These guys are all idiots. They are all trying to lose. Jon Snow will invent electricity and then electrocute himself because he's super dedicated to finding new and interesting ways to fuck up.

That is an accurate characterization of maybe the first four or five episodes, and a few scattered moments after that.

For instance, in these comments I'm depicting a viewpoint I disagree with (the naive, superficial, anticritical assumption that depiction equals endorsement); therefore, I agree with it.

Exactly! Depicting fetishism is the same as endorsing it because that's what fiction is. So even when the show gets down to how grotesquely immoral the dollhouse is, when the show is explicitly an unsubtle allegory about how capitalism is an extension of rape culture, it's still endorsing that.

There's a little known fact that all depiction is endorsement. A true feminist simultaneously critiques rape culture while never depicting anything unpleasant.

It will be more obvious once they switch to Kinja.

Depiction is always endorsement. Obviously, based on Dollhouse, Whedon was always a creep because depiction is endorsement and I don't understand fiction.
