I think they're going to mock president fuckface either way.
I think they're going to mock president fuckface either way.
I mean, it's his own fault for taking the job, but it's not like anyone else will be better at it. Trump lies and he contradicts himself. No one can be a good press secretary for doing that.
They either need shorter seasons or to lean into the procedural aspects of the shows.
All the cases where she's voted to narrow the fourth amendment are pretty fucking important.
The court routinely narrows or fails to extend precedent. Raich could have gone the other way without having to overturn Wickard. Thomas' dissent wouldn't have overturned Wickard (As near as I can tell, Thomas would overturn Wickard given the chance, but that's not necessary for Raich).
For instance, here's the Los Angeles v. Mendez opinion, decided this year, where a unanimous court (i.e., including the Notorious RBG) ruled that if the police illegally search your home, and enter your house without knocking or announcing that they're police, and they shoot you because you didn't know they were cops…
I can at least understand why someone would lionize even an awful politician for political reasons. RBG isn't a politician. Cheering her for her politics is insane.
Ha! No supreme court justice is on the right side of 95% of anything. Lionize literally anyone else.
I do not understand why anyone would lionize a supreme court justice. They issue a bunch of decisions every year, and most of them are awful, but people who pay attention to like 2 highly politicized opinions every year get ridiculously fannish about Ginsburg and her occasional dissents from awful opinions. Fawning…

While we're all repeating jokes that have long stopped being funny, Emma stone is Asian.
It's hard to get mad over snubs because there's so much good tv that bo matter what some deserving shows and people will be left out.
I was needlessly dismissive on my other reply.
The Catholic Church was around before modern parlance, and it will be around after.
That isn't how transubstantiation works. Transubstantiation only makes sense as a doctrine if you're starting with the distinction between substance and accidents in premodern (especially Aristotelian) metaphysics.
Yes, ancient Romans and Greeks believed that bread could turn into flesh normally.
Wine is gluten free. If you want gluten free communion, drink the blood. The whole communion is contained in either species.
Why would the secret service give a rat's tail about a figurative attack? They're not gonna have time to do anything about actual threats if they spend all their time investigating figurative attacks.
I will not feel a drop of pity for any secret service agent or other cop who feels guilt over not investigating non-crimes.
