That’s pretty crazy. I don’t hate Oni’s level design, but the ”activate switch to unlock door” design of the game got tiresome. I liked the linear levels (the dream level was fun) in Oni though and beating up proto-Master Chief’s in the game.

It’s level design wasn’t great, but it’s combat system was is still is awesome. I’ve yet to play a 3D brawler / shooter like oni.

I’m really sad it’s not selling well because it’s a supurbly balanced shooter. It has all the mechanics to countering any cheapness in other shooters *cough cough Battlefield/Call of Duty*. I do this all the time checking if Phantasy Star Portable 2 will be unlocked on my PS Vita. I can still download it to my psp and ps3 (from my previous downloads menu) but still waiting and hoping i can play it on my PS Vita.

Here’s the thing, with steam reviews you have to own the game to review it. So unless there are a lot of trolls willing to spend real money just to shit on a game, the bad reviews are probably pretty accurate.

Activision and EA may be horrible, but I have to say Digital Homicide is the worst thing in the video game development industry.
