Literally nobody I know with a Model 3 cross shopped it against anything at all. I know people that went from having an electric skateboard to having a $55k car because ZOMG THE FUTURE!

This is a good take. Nobody who has spent significant time around actual performance luxury cars will say the Model 3 is overall better. It’s got the acceleration, absolutely. But beyond that, for everyday driving and from a fit/finish/comfort perspective, it’s nowhere near the competition.
