I’m just shocked that there is an article about MTG on Kotaku, a site where one assumes many non-MTG players will read this, and you didn’t explain where the name “milling” comes from. To those outside the game this probably comes across as a gibberish nonsensical label. :)
It is the most psychologically powerful color. You FEEL like you are unable to play the way you think you should. The whole game is about spending mana and cards to nullify advantages (cards) in play or being played by your opponent. (or potentially being played in the future.)
