    Funny Games?

Wow. So this is what it feels like to be so old and out of touch that no part of a piece of pop culture makes any sense to you. I thought I'd make it to at least 35 before that happened. Thanks Skrillex and Jared Leto.

That whole exchange is amazing but I still think the top tweet for me was: "You chose well, Chachi. I wish my party was in bad enough shape to consider ME a convention headliner."

He has indeed started the "stolen election" rhetoric this week. On Monday he did say the election was going to be rigged, first to town hall crowed in Columbus, Ohio and then again on Hannity he said: "November 8th, we'd better be careful, because that election is going to
be rigged. And I hope the Republicans are

That's assuming that Ned didn't bother to fill Howland in on where the baby came from and what Lyanna whispered to him at any point during the lengthy trip back from Dorne — which seems unlikely.

Howland Reed is still alive and could presumably confirm the truth since he was there.

Woah, woah, woah. Having spent at least some time living in all five provinces west of Quebec, I can tell you that there is no way mayonnaise and french fries could be considered an anglophone thing out here. In fact, I was told it was a French thing the first time I saw someone do it, although a quick Google search

Based on this performance and his role on Misfits, Iwan Rheon seems to excel at playing off putting and uncomfortable characters that are still compelling to watch.

Yup. TV Tropes' Lost Colony page has a lengthy list of examples. Also, the Space Amish entry for additional examples of a similar premise.

To be fair, the heros also grope a bunch of girls during the "panty raid", set up camera's in the sorority house bedrooms/bathrooms, and sell nude pictures of the popular girl without her consent. Between the voyeurism, the revenge porn, and the sexual assault, the rape really just seems like the next step on the

    1) I love that you keep track of all of this.

Agreed. We played Pandemic: Legacy (a 4 player game that unfolds over 12 - 24 playthroughs) with a group of 8. While each pawn was technically controlled by two people, in reality whose turn it was generally came down to who had the best idea.

According to the Kickstarter page the game is designed to be played straight out of the box with concepts introduced gradually during your first play thru. As the guy usually responsible for learning and teaching the game I'm always skeptical about claims like that but I have also learned that the number of components

This game sounds really promising. It looks like it will be another great example of why co-op board games are experiencing such a surge in popularity right now. Co-op play really is one of the two things board games will continue to do better than video games for the foreseeable future (the other being bluffing

My theory was that the whole Ka-Tet needed to get to the tower which would allow them to take over for Maturin and renew the tower. (The whole thing about Maturin holding the world on his back and some throwaway line Roland makes about Maturin being a Ka-Tet started my thinking down that path.)

I sometimes feel like the odd one out for liking all of the books, except for the last half of the seventh. They certainly start getting worse after the fourth but the world building and characters kept my invested.

This seems like a relevant article:

I've been to a Hooters once and a Tilted Kilt once and I'd say that TK is waaaay creepier. For all it's (many) faults, at least Hooters' tend to be brightly lit, campy, and the waitresses seem to be at least partially in on the joke. Tilted Kilt, on the other hand is dim, dank, and (at least at the one I was at) the

I'm just glad that Character Actress Margo Martindale is able to get any kind of work after her recent stint in prison.
