Reminds me of this soviet example. Though admittedly it's nowhere near autonomous or easy to operate. It does however allow for those not able to drive traditional vehicles with pedals, to get around. Not sure if there are any modern examples of this or anything on the State-side.

That timing chains are a maintenance-free, lifetime item, and that any chain clatter is "normal". Not true. While technically the chain itself may last the lifetime of the car, none of the other pieces near by, especially the tentioners and whatnot, likely will not. See Audi 4.2L from a C6 A6.

Yea the Regal GS is actually very good looking, and not just for a Buick. It's the brand image that ruins it. You can't tell anyone you drive a Buick, without qualifying it with some story about this one not being like all the rest.
This thing is big in person. It doesn't look it on the pictures, but it's like a 1.3:1 scale copy of what you think it should look like. And I agree that it's good looking despite it being a 5 year old design at this point.
