While I'm not familiar with the shift pattern of a VW, my Fiero also has an oddly placed reverse gear. With the gear markings worn, it would be rather hard to just find it as it's spring loaded by a fairly strong spring. Just for reference, it's left and up, but not all the way left, you have to let it back a little

While my daily driver Audi is an automatic, I've seen the push-button e-brake confuse even mechanics who work on cars for a living. Have to tell them to push the button down to disengage and pull up to engage as if it was a regular, albeit tiny, e-brake lever. I'm hoping your every-day low-brow car thieves would be

Yea I don't think I want mine recorded. Just another reason for the wife to get mad if she ever saw those..

It's all in the wrist.. I've had lug nuts even cross threaded by a shop because they used an air-wrench without hand screwing the nuts on first I'm guessing. Soaked the thing in penetrating fluid, and still nothing. Took a 6ft length of pipe on the end of the lug wrench to snap the bolt in half to get the wheel off

See I'm the opposite. This is the reason why I do as much work on my own car as I can, and double check the lug nuts after someone else has had the wheels off, like after getting new tires and whatnot. I trust myself much more than the average Joe at Discount Tire or even the Dealers, to be able to properly torque the

All in all, not bad. That's as good of a praise anyone gets from me - I think bacon tastes decent enough and Pininfarina and Bertone do OK design work..

Something like that..

While this particular one is of questionable taste, in general I'm not entirely against using bits and pieces from other cars to enhance a cars appearance. What kills it though is using an emblem from another brand. There's an older Yukon Denali with Audi rings driving around Portland...

Sure, but TV coverage for that kind of stuff is nil.. I'm not saying great motor-sports doesn't exist here. There's just no exposure to it.

I so want this to be a thing in the US. I miss watching this sort of Truck Racing and Touring Cars and Rally on TV or even in person once in a blue moon. Here all we get is the Nascar types, drag racing, some strange bouncy pickups and Indy. It just doesn't quite measure up.

I tried to be thoughtful with this, and quickly realized that there aren't many exiting concept cars for people with families. I need 4 seats, but don't like the mini vans. The Astons, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Lotuses are too over the top and really are still a sportscar that's just a little longer. I need something

In Soviet Russia...

First thing that came to mind...

I think any of the KITT photos are pretty awkward..

I've used a similar method. Just take the coil wire with you. Granted it's a bit more obvious if someone is actually staking you out..

Not all cars disable once the receiver is out of range. My Audi simply shows a yellow key icon on the dash and beeps. It will stay running and driving. This is essentially the same as the battery in the remote going dead.

Now playing

You missed the best one out there... Didn't catch the Question thread..

My own younger son was brought home in my dads old 1989 Firebird Formula, 5.0L.

Lada 21011.. my dad was so nervous picking me up from the hospital he slammed his finger in the door somehow and to this day has a scar on his finger and fingernail.

Nah that's just water. It'll rain a whole lot more..
