Washington driving culture as a hole is a bit sketchy, not just Seattle. They have a tendency to slam on their breaks without looking in the mirror and change lanes over 3 lanes to make the exit on the last minute, right after going exactly the speed limit in the left lane, holding up a row of traffic behind them..

New York City is kind of a given here, but as something different, I'm gonna cast another vote for Portland, OR. The city is a maze of one-way streets, and caters to bicyclists and pedestrians over drivers. One of the latest is the "Implied Crosswalk" law, where a pedestrian can walk onto the street anywhere, and

On a serious note though, yellow cars do attract bugs more than other cars for some reason. Not to this capacity, but it's not uncommon on a hot day to see bees and ladybugs on a yellow car.

Of course it's Portland! I've seen worse on 205. I once saw a 4 door sedan on the on-ramp to 205, with a mattress on top, not tied down or anything. Four people in the car, all with a hand out the window holding it down. Going onto Interstate 205. A highway. Kinda with I had a reason to follow them and see the thing

I was just about to say the fire thing.. "No, as you can see, my Fiero has not caught fire yet."

My mom had an MX3, the V6. Red with gold dust in it. Great little car. Except it kept going through distributors for some reason. Never did figure that one out. It would start missing at idle and you'd know it's time for a new one. Then one day it got rear ended and totaled by a lady in a Yukon Denali. From the

Yes! Got me one of them!

I'll believe it when I see it. I have zero faith in NBC to be competent enough broadcast the Olympics without running commercials of half of it and picking and choosing only the events that Americans win at. Not that I have anything against Americans winning per se, but I would also like to be able to see the events

I find that to be true of most beers and most colored liquors, like Whiskey, Cognac, Brandy, Tequila, etc.. though not Dark Rum oddly enough. Simple Gin and Tonics or Vodka Tonics though are just fine, as is Dark Rum and Pineapple. But whatever it is, I try to stay away from cheap liquors and sweet stuff, like

Miss my Pre for that. The touchstone was/is a brilliant device. And I miss the cards. And the swipe back. And the hardware keyboard. And the easy patching/hacking via PreWare. And the little pouch that came with the phone. What I don't miss though is the hairline crack that started from the charger port and extended

No I agree with that. But I also identify with him in the fact that I've been told that I have a problem with Alcohol, like he in the comments below. Though personally I don't think I have a problem. I have had a couple of blackouts. Not lost any gadgets though. But I just think that a lot of the accusations in

So everyone here is saying don't drink. I say drink smarter. I think America in general has an issue with defining Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism and so on... The bar is set pretty low here. I don't agree with it though. What's lacking though is knowing how to drink. First off, if you're going to a bar after work, leave

And another reason..

Another vote for the Jaguar E-Type. Convertible.

At least this one is cheap enough to be funny.

I hope to god you left the rings. An Audi without the rings is like a face without a nose..

I agree. Debadgeing to me just means that you're embarrassed of what you drive. And on some care it even makes them look neutered, like an Audi without the rings.. just is not right.

I must not be a proper Portlander then. If nobody goes at a 4-way, I just go, even if I was the last one to get there. But I do also drive an Audi so that may explain it too.

On a related note, I have an old copy of MS Encarta I'm willing to part with to the highest bidder...
