Yeah, Era Vulgaris was disappointing the first time I listened to it, same as Lullabies to Paralyze, but both are good overall, with some forgettable tracks. But, goddamn, nothing can be Songs for the Deaf again.

Smh at the continued disrespect for EV. Like Clockwork has some good songs but getting through it is an absolute slog. EV sounds like Evil Santa’s workshop where elves are making toys for bad kids with power tools. It’s fun!
Era Vulgaris is a hugely underrated album.
I dunno why Era Vulgaris gets put down, I find it to be a solid rocker front to back. And IMHO, has my fave art work from all their releases.
