Wasn't there a recurring "Teen Angel" segment on The Mickey Mouse Club in the 90s? That's what I thought this was going to be about.

Bill did a few strips in Pearls Before Swine a year or two ago.

I gave it an A for visuals, B for plot, but D for dialog and C for direction. I'd like to see him do more, even another Sky Captain, but let him just do the story and have someone else do the actual script.

The only one I like is Highly Questionable with Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones.

Frankly, if I could directly pay for ESPN 3/Watch ESPN access and could get a similar product from the other sports networks/rights holders, I'd finally be able to drop cable.

And yet ESPN is by far the most expensive part of any cable channel. Still, if I were doing an à la carte cable package it would basically be all the sports channels with a few non-sports like the Science Channel and BBC America.

I would counter that Hollywood can still create "a sustained, inspired, affectionate spoof that functions as a movie" with Galaxy Quest (admittedly, over a decade old, but still in relatively the same era as the Scary Movie franchise).
