Funny, I know several guys in their 40's and 50's who have never been married.
How about we just require all men to provide a DNA sample to the state, and do paternity tests as a standard procedure for all births. Whoever has paternity pays, whether the mother is married to them or not.
They don’t want to pay for anything, simple as that.
How is the father not on the hook? If (when?) the mother names him, the state will go after his income for 18 years.
This is pretty clearly about the state (republicans) not wanting to pay for anything. They want a name, any name, in the ‘father’ slot so they can make that person pay. The threat of no support if there is no name is just an bludgeon to force the mothers to name someone.
If you want me to be outraged specifically against Trump supporters, it would be nice if you conveniently provided the numbers for non-Trump supporters as a point of reference.
