CA lawmakers have reaffirmed their commitment to continue spending $15,264,000.00/day for over the next 5,110 days (or $10,600/minute) for the next 14 years on a choo-choo train. So that residents can pay to park their car in SFO, get fondled by TSA agents, take a 2.5hr train ride to L.A. for $98, and rent a car.

Well the article makes a few things utterly clear:

Beauty is only subjective when describing everything besides the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder.

According to the SFO Metropolitan Transportation Commission, an average of 260,000 vehicles a day crossed the Bay Bridge in 2014~2015, and that 124,752 entering SFO paid to do it, amounting to $228,421,028.00 — Or $7.24 a second.

Any “disaffected minority”of this country, protesting anything - while being paid millions of dollars to play a game with a ball, is an idiot. Only America will make a celebrity millionaire out of a fool playing football; stop whining.

Oh Please. Germans do style even worse than Italians do reliability; there’s been very few beautiful German cars. Italians build beautiful cars - the Alfa Giulia comes to mind. Modern German cars are just smoothed over refinements of the boxes and bugs they built 50 years ago. Timeless and mature- yes, beautiful no.

Because I’ve spent nearly 40 years listening to my pop go on about how the BMW 2002 his grandfather bought new in the 60's was the greatest driving car he’s ever been in, and because they were once known as “the ultimate driving machine”- I’d dreamt of driving and owning one. Until I was upgraded to a brand new BMW X3

Besides Malcolm Bricklin?! That’s only funny if you aren’t one of the hundreds of thousands of workers, suppliers, designers, investors or taxpayers left either jobless or broke every time he rode off on a new scam; Bad Joke comrade.

“union leaders told Reuters that it was too low.”

Determining bad drivers is easy- Do they have an Oregon license plate? BOOM. If its a CA plate- Does the frame say “Lexus of Concord, Concord Toyota, Ford of Concord”, or anything with Concord? BOOM. There are 10 lanes of freeway in Concord that are a parking lot 24/7 because apparently all the residents came from

Good summary of the mess, but misses a couple of the biggest problems for all sides - Kim Jong Il’s “military first” legacy for example. To prevent being overthrown, the Kim regime was forced into forfeiting nearly all of it’s economic control to the military following the collapse of the USSR and the famine in the

My first car was a 1980 4-Door VW Rabbit Diesel given to me by my Pop in 1987 who’d bought it new. Even with the blistering performance it’s 48HP put out, it still managed about 500 miles on a tank- which was important since there were only 2 places to buy Diesel within 250 miles of Silicon Valley back then. I think

I’m surprised that the Fiesta ST isn’t up here; most fun car I’ve driven.

So the 2016 Vette MSRP is $55.4K, and the 2006 was $44.6K- around 23% more money for arguably 23% more car. The real question is why the 2016 Tahoe LTZ with an MSRP of $61K, is 60% more than my 2007 LTZ was at $38K.

I thought it ugly, before I realized that the Wizards of Smart in D.C and California will both give me thousands in big fat tax rebates to buy a foreign car that will virtually eliminate the $0.60/ gallon tax on gas that I won’t be buying, and then let me whiz by in the HOV lanes while polluting 70's era vans parked
