It makes me a bit sad that this is how you refer to the incredible singer-songwriter Steve Earle. Feel free to look into his whole catalog, particularly "Guitar Town," "Copperhead Road" and "I Feel Alright." For what it's worth, he's the one singing the title song on Season 3 (I believe) of "The Wire."

I'm a bit shocked by a couple of things: 1. The writers' overall seeming agreement that this album is inferior to "Morning Glory." Much as I love that disc, it is hardly superior to "DM," which isn't bogged down by so many sappy, druggy ballads (which I love but not as much as the attitude on "DM"), inane lyrics ("The…
