youre really missing out cause the game drops that whole trope.about a quarter into the story. It actually turns  into Vice City Stories light as you pull off a lot of insane shit in the country side and really picks up when you get to San ferrio 

As long as nukes aren’t involved, tanks probably will be. Aircraft and drones can’t hold territory (only deny it to the enemy), you need ground vehicles and boots for that.

How do you fuck this game up so badly? One of the biggest IPs on Earth, anything Marvel, hell superheroes, still basically prints money, and this has been a colossal failure from day one. I mean, Anthem wasn’t as bad, Fallout 76 wasn’t as bad at this point, how did this happen?

Esp. with online 4P coming for some if not all of these 4P-capable games. I totally get the why it’s not happening, but the idea of online GoldenEye with old friends who also have Switches...

I guess I knew Goldeneye and Perfect Dark wouldn’t make the cut but it still hurts. Those games were like 99% of my N64 time when it was new so I don’t really have nostalgia for anything else except Mario and Tetrisphere (which like c’mon can’t I at least have Tetrisphere??)

I’d love Banjo-Kazooie but I seriously doubt we see any Rare games. I hope I’m wrong. Another I’d really want is Jet Force Gemini (and of course GoldenEye / Perfect Dark).

When I had an N64, the only game I owned was Goldeneye and it’s the only game I need on NSO. If Nintendo gives me the gift murdering my friends in local co-op while drinking beer, like we did back in my early 20s, I will be eternally grateful.

This is where modern publishers are falling down — there are plenty of talented indies and hobbyists out there who could give these publishers a license to print money -- at no cost to the publisher -- just by selectively licensing their IPs to said indies and hobbyists. But they’re of the old “with an iron fist”…
