Remember when people thought Nintendo was doomed and we’d have to see Mario on xbox?

Zero sucked. Next time though, you guys should try the first one. They have that remastered XBLA off the original N64 release. Remember that it has 2p co-op, 2p counter-op, and a multiplayer mode practically absolutely drowning in options. No game before or since has surpassed it, feature-wise. Which is pretty

“Doom Project Diary, day 667: Been trapped in this base for years now. I keep thinking I fought the last demon, broke the last crystal, grunted the last grunt... but I’m wrong. I wake to an endless sea of laughing, gibbering abominations in an endless bath of death and corruption in endless bases on endless planets.

The issue I always had with it is exactly the RNG that makes it fun; when I played MK online (DS days) all 4 players would jockey NOT to be in first place, because you get better items being farther back.

They’re recanonizing a lot of folks lately, so I’m totally holding out hope for Mara Jade and Kyle Katarn.

Man, when is Kyle Katarn gonna rejoin the Star Wars canon? My dude Dash Rendar is apparently canon again due to some Solo supplemental materials so Kyle can’t be far off.

On one end we have Sony, whose naming scheme is a bit boring, but consistent and easy to follow. On the other you have Nintendo whose names are varied, but at least have some kind of reasoning behind the names that ties to the console’s features (except for Wii and Wii U from what I can tell).

Except I’m pretty sure Perfect Dark was set in 2023.

This is wildly cool, and a perfect example of why games need to be preserved and archived.

The hurt is still too real...

Ever since Tetris 99 (AKA “basically Tetris Battle Royale”) turned out great I’ve basically accepted that any genre can successfully adapt to the Battle Royale formula.

Not how I anticipated this game mode to go, but it sounds pretty clever!

This is what I'm seeing lately. A bunch of people of first world countries falling in love with communism. I'm not saying socialism because socialism can be good and many countries practice some of it (social security is one of these things). However communism will never work. On paper it's awesome but human nature is

...and then at the end of the game, Donkey Kong went and shook hands with all the enemies he murdered with his shotgun.

You say the jokes feel old, but that’s why they’re tropes. This movie, unlike a lot of others, seem to be doubling down on the absurdity of the tropes, instead of using them and trying to be serious about it.

The entire movie doesn’t seem like it takes itself seriously at all, so jokes like that don’t really seem like a serious comment. However it does appear there’s going to be a romantic side to the story which seems unnecessary.

So, real life Lego movie, with Ryan Reynolds? OK. I’m willing to give it a shot.

Surprise twist: All the players he kills are brain dead in their futuristic VR rigs.
