Just because it crops up every time Kotaku reports on a fan project, I feel the need to say this:
If anyone out there genuinely believes it is Kotaku’s coverage of a fan project that slaps said project with a corporate C&D, then the folks who believe that are in desperate need of a reality check.
Any IP that’s able to…
Yeah I want it on PC Game Pass also. I already own it on console but no longer have a working Xbox One so it’d be nice if we could have a PC version.
Any chance at all for that to be available in the PC pass as well?
Sounds pretty cool. I hope my son isn’t too old to play this with me >_>
Also, a bit sad we don’t have Rogue One in it. Jyn Erso’s adventure looks made for a game.
“We’re not listening THAT well”.
You asked. We listened
“Do you guys not have phones?”
But you get Sam Fisher in a mobile game! That’s just as good, right?
No announcement of Splinter Cell? What a bust.
When did Rainbow Six become Resident Evil 6?
I suspect that there’ll be a fairly limited pool of recruitment missions with minor variations, with a few exceptions. Which would be a little immersion breaking for me.
I haven’t played the first two games, but if they can actually pull off this “recruit anyone” thing I might play this one. Really liked what I saw. We all know Ubi is good at that stuff, but can fumble on delivery. I was pretty much sold on the concept when they showed the granny infiltrate the police station, haha.
That was about exactly how I would have imagined Keanu Reeves doing a game presentation. It also felt pretty clear he had never heard the term Cyberpunk before and the way he relished the word was just delightful.
Oh, no, I understand that it’s a stupid complaint in the face of the multiple suspension bridges of disbelief necessary to engage with Star Wars in the first place—and is definitely the kind of “well, actually...” complaint that marks me out as that guy on that movie.
But it’s been a burr in my ass since I was in…
Frankly, Star Wars lore is mostly a jumbled, nonsensical pile of half-baked ideas that occasionally manages to bring forth a few moments of brilliance, and that is precisely what makes it fun. And it seemed that the people behind it all knew that, too. The way the franchise has been presenting itself since Disney took…
I feel the same way about the Force Unleashed. Crazy versions of stormtroopers, difficult fights hunting Jedi, insane non-canon endings.
