She was born in Oklahoma and went to college in the 70s, so it’s possible she really did believe family stories like many other people do. All this wanting her to retract, offer up a family tree and take a DNA test is extremely stupid.

Giving Navajo Code Talkers awards in front of Andrew “Trail Of Tears” Jackson’s portrait was already the most trolling moment I’ve ever seen a President pull since President Dick Cheney tricked America into believing that George W. Bush could run the country by himself. Then Trump drops a Pocahontas/Liz Warren joke in

Dude, I enjoy your writing but puh-leeze, pretty puh-leeze never, ever, ever write another thing about this fool...it made my head hurt just to ponder that there are people this dumb out here walking free among us. Then I realize Trump is also the POTUS .....now you owe us a laugh.

The headline says the mean spirited satire doesn’t hold up but the article is about how the gameplay and level design don’t hold up.

Seriously just straight up fun. Multiplayer was never overly competitive either. No matter what skill level you could jump into a match and have a ton of fun.

Maybe because the first 2 games were FUN games. FUN being the operative word. They might not have been the best games, but they were fun especially the single player. The chaos was unreal.

I love Star Wars. Like really, really love Star Wars. But I really hated those original Battlefront games. People really enjoyed them, which is great and I’m not gonna begrudge them that, but to me they always felt like fanservice wrapped around clunky-as-hell gameplay full of bullet sponge damage models and

I loved SW Battlefront 1 and 2 solo and was really disappointed that the last verion had no solo game. I will be looking forward to this next one.

Why do people keep putting the original two games on a pedestal? Battlefronts 1 & 2 were fun but had really mediocre game play and that was saved only by the fan service they provided.

actively liking fire emblem heroes is like being cursed by a witch

Yeah, people don’t seem to understand that this game kinda has to last... If upgrading to 5* was much cheaper, people would be basically finished their core team within a month and they’d have to rush out new content.

There’s a pretty simple reason for the extreme cost involved in promoting a unit from 4 stars to 5 - 5 star units are, generally, vastly more powerful than you need for a good chunk of the story. Sure, I understand the desire to have an uber unit, but when using it will change the game from “tactics” to “send in the 5

Pretty much like all these types of games. They have 12 different currencies, 14 different ways to ear 3 of them, 467 star levels that upgrade in 24 different ways each. I just want to buy a fucking game and play it. I hate this industry now. It’s getting out of hand.

I absolutely adored having that info displayed at all times on the bottom screen with no need to interrupt gameplay. It left the top screen free of clutter and allowed easy access to menus. JRPGs and games like Hyrule Warriors used it to great effect.

You can’t fold a big screen, and the two screens gave birth to Henry Hatsworth, which was super cool. I agree for the most part though ;)

KIREEK remembers.

Oh man Commandos 1 & 2, I don’t think my quicksave finger ever had such a workout.

I think you are partially right: Games have continuously been about improvement. 90% of the action games from even the PS2 era were janky as hell. It wasn’t until last generation that I feel most developers perfected action games and action combat specifically.

Still waiting for that revival of Turn-Based Final Fantasy!
