He’s not great, and yet they didn’t struggle like that all year outside the Bears game. They didn’t need to stop Mahomes this week, but it doesn’t mean the plan they came up with and executed wasn’t smart when one other team managed it all year.

They didn’t have to do anything else. They saw the only things the Rams could do, and said do something else. The Rams didn’t even know how to try.

But they didn’t even know how to go about trying something different to make it easier. They had zero idea about how to combat what they were facing. 

If they didn’t know how to go about even trying to beat what was placed in front of them, isn’t that of some credit to the defense so completely overwhelming them they just shut down?

It’s going to be ignored so everyone can bitch and moan, but this is really good.
