I think you’re referring to Delivery Ratio, which compares the amount of air fed into the cylinder versus a reference mass of air (at standard T-P). CR is always a geometrical calculation.

Hrm, interesing. That’s the exact opposite experience I had with my B7 S4, in which it ran out of gas with 1/3 tank displayed on the gauge and 90mi remaining on the digital info readout. Some guys get lucky.
