yeah, the Access platform is a ton more compelling than the Playstation Now for sure as far as pricing, plus you have to stream for Now, which worked pretty well for me, but certainly not as well as downloading the game.

Right, but with PS+ you get games and online play. It's more of a mixture of Access and Live (although Live has games with gold now). Most of my friends don't even play online, so it's optional as well. I have PS+ for the "free" games and deals on preorders, etc. Haven't used it more than twenty minutes for online.
What do they "make" you subscribe to to do things on the PS4 (besides multiplayer)? This kinda thing is the closest thing to being competitive to PS+, so they were probably just trying to downplay it a bit.
You know what had a pretty decent pirate mini-game? Sly 3. I'm playing through it for the first time on my Vita and it's pretty fun. Haven't played AC yet, but I hear it's even better.
true that, my brother
1 1/2) Prancercising
I bought crash 1,2,&3 to play on my vita (ha...didn't work in the US for some reason) but crash 1 is damn hard with the d-pad, and the fact you have to beat a secret level to even save progress makes it even worse.
the issue likely boils down to one word
yeah I dint think those prices are legitimate either, especially since most of the games being offered on it are from last gen. I see access being catered to those who only play ea sports games, by then it's a decent deal
Yeah, like Shadead said, the Access program is more of a competition for PS+, where you're able to download the games locally to your system and play them as long as you're a member, not stream older games over the internet. We also don't know if the Access program will eliminate the past games given after a certain…
and apparently reading comprehension is beyond your iq...look at the damn thread before being the thirteenth person to respond with the same fucking thing.
good Lord people, read the other thread posts in this conversation. The original article didn't have the yearly subscription blurb. I don't need ELEVEN people all saying the same damn thing.
I KNOW it's $30/year. The original post didn't have that value there...
I know - the original blurb on Kotaku didn't have that up there, just the $5/month figure
yeah that second blurb wasn't up there before :-) - seems like a good deal if you like older games for sure.
$5 X 12 = $60
After being annoyed with FFXIII, I didn't play any of the others. I heard they're all about the same, so if you were burned out on the first one, my guess is the others won't keep your interest (although I hear the most recent one about lightning returning was different, but in a good way - supposedly the best of the…
that sucks. My buddy got the platinum in it a while back, but I don't know why the annoyance of killing all those damn adamantoises got to me so much, but it did...That and the fact i had other games I really wanted to play. I did get the platinum on ni no kuni (fantastic if you haven't played it) and more recently…
I used to feel this way until ffxiii, that game broke my desire for platinum for everything i played. Now I REALLY have to like a game to platinum it (and not have mp trophies)
Overrated list of beer: All of them - beer sucks ;-)
