While I definitely agree with your point about football (the 11-15 minutes/60 minutes thing everyone on this thread has mentioned is a perfect example of it), I know it irks a lot of people that games can end in ties, and frequently do at 0-0...so it's hard to appreciate the "beauty" of a sport that you watch for two

you ever put salt on watermelon? Makes it taste so much better...trust me

Honestly, the easiest (and probably cheapest) thing would be to go and just get a PS3. If you go the used route, you should be able to get one under $100 and used PS3 games are really cheap nowadays, especially if you look online. That way you still get to have the discs. I think the PS3 architecture was so wonky,

I jumped on the $360 PS4 yesterday from ebay...can't wait to get it on Friday. Quick poll from everyone: what game should I get "first"? I say "first" because I already got the Lego Marvel superheroes game a while back and have all the PS4 games I got for free on PS+. My choices are between inFamous, killzone, and

I know graphics aren't everything, but why the hell can't they release one of these games on a console instead of a handheld?

I've already platinumed the disc-based version of the game, but figured it'd be good to have it on my digital download list anyway. But oddly I get the message "You are not eligible to purchase or download this content." Anyone else getting this? It happened to me yesterday when I tried to "purchase" Pixeljunk Shooter

The worst thing about consoles is shooters definitely aren't as easy as KB+M for sure, but for games that are Move compatible, it's the closest thing I've gotten apart from actually using a KB+M.

But how many PC games are specifically built for couch co-op gaming? The steam box looks to be something that could bridge this gap, but it's not out yet.

Pot, meet kettle....kettle, meet pot

I used to do PC gaming as well in college (after being a PS2 guy in high school - mostly changed because I didn't have a TV or room for one in my dorm), but now I'm a console guy. I agree about the ease of using a console since every one of them is the same and the game is (or at least should be) optimized for it. You

it's become my go to system for a while now with four kids and a full time job. Between the great indie titles and hd upgrades, it really is a fantastic system, especially for rpgs that allow for pick up and play. I can't wait for child of light later this summer.

Really was liking Danganronpa before I stopped playing it, so I think I will. Already platinumed Virtue's Last Reward as well ;-) - it was a free PS+ game a while back.

That was my masters, this was in Pharmacology ;-)

I'm contemplating starting FFX-2 since I've never played it before, but I had started Danganronpa right before I got FFX, so I think I should play that beforehand.

just got the platinum in ffx-hd this week on the same day I got my PhD...Don't really know what made me prouder ;-). This is damn impressive for sure.

they used to have a sandwich in the states called the big n' tasty that was like their version of the whopper (had mayo with lettuce tomato pickles & onions) being a BK guy myself i would always get that when i couldn't find a burger king

I actually enjoyed All4One a lot - it was fun to play through with the Mrs. One of my favorite couch co-op games of last gen for sure.

I watch most of the games during the season and have watched most of these as well and there's something just....off....about his play of late. He is the master of the pass, and does it with such ease on either forehand or backhand (the reason he's so deadly on his backhand is because he doesn't curve his stick on

I have a five year old son (and three more too young to play now) but we've already started playing together. Right now we're playing through puppeteer, and he uses the Move to control the little fairy thing. It's enough to get him excited about games without getting frustrated by complex controls. Although my

I mostly didn't like family circus cause of the shitty punchlines
