I do believe you may be wrong with regards to users having to "rethink their approach to desktop/laptop use." I remember reading an article stating that Windows 8 will come with the feature of being able to revert back to the legacy Windows desktop or use the new Metro UI, which I do believe is geared more towards

"... that deaf, dumb and blind kid..." doesn't make any sense whatsoever!

"Unpossibly modern."... Seriously? I believe you meant to say "Impossibly modern."

Seriously? I thought this was a gadget blog? Why the hell are you promoting this FUCKED UP drivel that is not even close to funny? I stopped watching after 20 second, which is probably 15 seconds later than I should have... I'm just saying... PLEASE STAY ON SUBJECT = GADGETS!

I take issue with you, referencing the "Sea Shepherd" and that they use nonlethal methods for getting their point across. I've watched all four seasons of that show, and I have not seen one torpedo!

Seriously? For my money, I'd go with the "Ghost" over the "Stiletto" any day of the week! If for nothing else than the "coolness factor." You have to admit that the "Ghost" is far cooler and sleeker looking than the "Stiletto" you referenced in your Wikipedia link.

I have a question that is off-topic: I got an iPod Touch for Christmas, and I'd like to be able to listen to my tunes in my vehicle. What equipment/adapters would I need in order to make this a reality?

I love DVDFab... I've tried other applications such as DVD Shrink, DVD Decryptor, DVD Extractor, and even good old standby Handbrake, but I always returned to trusty DVDFab if for no other reason than for its sure simplicity of use, not to mention that it pretty much does everything I need it to do!

Bill... quick question... how does one go about connecting one's iPod into my car's sound system? What type of equipment/adapters would I need in order to play the music on my iPod Touch through my car's speaker system?

Speaking of Ponies!... He was one of the main reasons I started following Gizmodo in the first place... he always provided some snappy repartee to the mix... whatever happened to him? Inquiring minds want to know!

I bought a Sony HTIB a couple years ago... it's a 5.1 Surround Sound with a Blu-Ray receiver, and I'm quite happy with the output from it. I bought it on Amazon for around $325 with s/h!

I don't really understand when you refer to "TN panels" or "IPS with better color reproduction"... Would you mind elaborating/explaining what these two technologies are and their respective pros and cons?

Quick question regarding the "Altec Lansing Octiv 650"... Will this only work with an iPhone or iPod Touch? Will it not work with a 5th gen iPod Nano?

Apparently there's a problem with the audio for the embedded video... I had the volume on my laptop cranked to the max, however, there is definitely no sound whatsoever!

WTF? Not one Windows based top download this week... what gives?

I think a lot has to do with genetic predisposition, in combination with what we eat... after all, we as a country consume more processed and fatty foods than any other country in the world... so if a part of the solution must begin with us... just sayin'...

I'll second that sentiment wholeheartedly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These guys sound just as bad... and like I said earlier, I wouldn't pay good money for this crap... nor would I even download it even if it was for FREE!!!!!!!!!!
