Hideo Kojima wants to make movies and hates with every fiber of his being that he’s just the video game guy now and he never will be the big budget hollywood action movie director he truly wants to be.

Maybe I just don’t get it, but I see absolutely zero appeal in playing a tedious game dedicated to my least favorite childhood chore.

Even the worse of the fake mega church (and you know which one they are) don’t tell you to drive at 100mph with your hands off.

Yeah it’s such a shame that they don’t try to copycat the latest crazes like every other game developer on Earth already does.

Who knew that pure human joy could make for a better start to the morning than coffee.

When the deluge of BOTW info came out in 2016, that was pretty much all I gave a damn about until the game came out. I spent a frightening amount of my free time watching everything I could about the game and then when it came out I put 950 hours into it over the next 4 years and 3 100% playthroughs. I fully expect to

I have been following Nintendo news for 15 years, and no matter how low I set my expectations, I am almost always disappointed.

They should’ve never gave Kojima money.

There is nobody who could possibly want that, right?

Awards shows in general get the ‘oh goody’ thing from me because, really, who cares - but just last night I nearly had fisticuffs with friends over the old God of War vs. Red Dead Redemption 2 2018 GOTY debate.

For the record, I was team Red Dead. Y’all have a good day now.

On first glance I read it as Final Battle. Even after reading the article it took me a second to realize why you thought it was Anal Battle.

Same here. I don’t care about The Masked Singer, so I was just hoping the article was about him getting shot in the face. Am dissapointed.

Stackable and ADDITIVE.

A 5% drop item becomes 15% with one character, 45% with all 4.

Thank you! Grinding this lame Othello ripoff to get that class didn’t seem worth it because I’m not a catch-em-all person, I just get what’s good (or required). Being able to farm stat boost reasonably just made getting the class worth it because RNG classes are for people bored with the game.

So the slider may be gone, but you can still purchase items to stop enemies from chasing you around the map. This essentially lets you ignore all the enemies in a dungeon, even if it’s a less elegant solution that simply turning the slider down to zero.

At the same time, the dungeons themselves get to be fairly long,

Field enemies are a great improvement from random battles, but Bravely already figured out an even better improvement for a system that requires you to fight a ton of monsters to get EXP and JP. The slider is everything to this series, they took an intentional leap backwards from the great idea that drove their

I tried Yakuza 0 and loved everything about the game except the combat. Now I am deep (Chapter 10) into Like A Dragon and loving every moment. I hope they keep the series as an RPG.
