Yep... PS2 launched with crap... and the Dreamcast had a killer library at the time...

I guess this depends on what you mean by “real exclusives”. I don’t have a gaming PC, and I have no interest in building one, so MS games being on PC don’t mean much to me.

You might be hard pressed to find anyone who actually beat the original game (without using cheats or rewind feature, anyways). That game was psychotically brutal.

Agree with your point completely, but at the same time: Where was Battletoads? We’ve seen gameplay of it before; why not show us where it’s at now?

The 360 was dominating the PS3 until RRoD drove everyone way. Furthermore, it wasn’t until the very end that the PS3 surpassed the 360 worldwide, but you also have to consider that only like, three people in Japan bought a 360, so worldwide sales were never going to go MS’s way.

This! This is what drives me crazy about MS. They could easily, EASILY, dominate the western market if they would just promote well and give gamers what they actually want.

Generally speaking, console makers tend to lose money on console sales, not make money (well, except maybe Nintendo).

And once again... MS shits the bed.

When I read the title of this article, my first thought was, “Why is Brian upset that the Nintendo Switch is selling well?”

My primary thought during the opening crawl was that I sincerely hoped that “The dead speak!” would become a meme.
