Cousin’s wedding takes up most of the weekend, but when I’m home more FIFA 19 and World of Warcraft. Sprinkle in some AC: Odyssey. That game just keeps going and going and I feel like I’m never going to finish it.

For now, just more World of Warcraft. I’ve been wanting to get into PvP for the last two expansions but haven’t hadn’t the bandwidth. My XBox is predictably out of commission thanks to the latest update (an issue that happens every time they push an update) so until everything clicks juuuuust right I’ll be bound to my…
Well now that the weekend is over I suppose this is more of a reporting reply than one of force casting.
Likely more FIFA 19 if I find the time. I really want to go deep on Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey as the DLC keeps coming out and I’m avoiding all talk and articles about it until I finish the main game. Unfortunately, FIFA has it’s claws in me and with the last big promotion around the corner I’m unlikely to break free…
I’ve sort of fallen back into the FIFA 19 cycle of playing a handful of games during the week and pushing hard on Sunday for the sweet rewards they hand out on Thursdays. Not like the first 4 months of the game, but I’m definitely back in.
After finally separating myself from the week-in, week-out cycle of FIFA 19 (playing 2-3 games each week is enough for a decent influx of currency), i’m ready to take a real crack at my backlog.
The weekly feedback loop of FIFA 19 has finally burned me out of that game, so I’ll likely be taking the weekend off from gaming. I did start a new playthrough of The Witcher III on Blood and Broken Bones (played on a lower difficulty last time around), and am putzing around White Orchard gaining XP so Velen doesn’t…
More FIFA, the competitive weekend league will take between 10-15 hours depending on how well or poor in playing. Between that I’ll keep plugging away at Hollow Knight. That games soundtrack and exploration are incredible.
I’m so far down the FIFA 19 hole it isn’t even funny. The game has such an onerous rewards structure that your need to play a ton to get the most rewards possible. At 20-30 minutes a game, 30 games per weekend adds up.
I poured several hours into Hollow Knight on my Mac but I need a better way to link a controller to my laptop - the bluetooth seems to break every time I unlink it to go back to my XBOX - since I don’t like the feel of playing with the keyboard controls. Excellent game, though.
FIFA 19 early access is out, so I’ll be playing that until I can’t play no more...at least until the full game releases next week.
I just started a NG+ in Assassin’s Creed: Origins to sate my thirst for AC: Odyssey, which I preordered and installed and now have to look at for a month. My first playthough I played on normal, but this time I’m trying Nightmare since I have all the Cure of Pharoah’s weapons. It’s been fun - punishing, but fun.
I plowed trough AC: Origins and all of its DLC over the last 10 days or so, completed the whole shebang in around 60 hours. I’m sure I have a ton of side quests and forts and treasures to clean up, but I always find it hard to go back and do stuff like that. Oh wel, maybe when I do the NG+ I’ll do everything.
I’m about 30 hours deep into AC: Origins after getting the bad ending in The Witcher III. I also bought Celeste in the Steam Sale so I’ve been messing around in that.
The Witcher III, because despite already being almost 50 hours into the game I’ve only just returned Kaer Morhen with Uma. I have so much more to do. I love this game.
FINALLY got myself roped into The Witcher III after buying the GotY edition last year during the E3 sales. I have around 25 hours played and finished the big story beats in Velen. Excited to dive into Novigrad, city exploration in games is my favorite and was one of the biggest disappointments of Dragon Age…
Plugging away at my first Witcher III play through, but I also just bought AC: Origins since it was half off. I don’t know what to do now, because both games will ask for about 60-100 hours of my life.
I’ve been on an open world kick lately. Finished second playthrough of Dragon Age Inquisition, plowed through Part 2 of Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection (Brotherhood, always been my fave), and finally went back to Mass Effect Andromeda (giving this game a real chance after finishing Planet 1).
This is funny because at the moment my “mainstay”, “timewaster,” and “bad habit,” are all the same game: World of Warcraft. This can even dip into the “second job” and “socialite” depending on who from my past gaming crews is playing at a given time.
Just bought the definitive Dishonored package and played the first hour or so of Dishonored the other night. Really enjoying it, looking forward to getting deeper in. Not that my backlog needed any additions - still working on getting to The Witcher III, Fallout 4, GTA V, Mass Effect Andromeda, Dragon Age Origins,…
