The buttons are backwards from whichever OS you're switching from. I use 7 and can't stand using OS X, and I attribute it to that almost entirely. Otherwise, they're both well engineered OSes. IMO, win7 has more programs and features and wins any fanboy debate hands down no matter which way you look at it.

I have a wee 60GB SSD for my OS and programs, and a big ol' HDD for all my downloads, media, etc. Both were dirt cheap, keep me from cluttering my pc with unused programs, make my pc start up in a matter of seconds, and make games perform like a dream (loading, startup, etc.)
