I am glad she is out there showing her range as an actress. 

Abby ended up with the wrong lady. Should have run off with Plaza’s character.

A B is pretty spot on. It’s been an enjoyable show (4 episodes in) but nothing memorial about it. Anya Taylor Joy is very good in it.

Two episodes in and Queen is very good. I am tempted to binge watch the whole thing this weekend. 

The movie was perfectly fine. It did nothing exciting in regards to putting the story on film. It was a beautifully shot film though; interiors, exteriors, the costumes on the actors and actresses. Anya Taylor Joy made a beautiful Emma. It’s probably the prettiest Jane Austen adaptation I’ve ever seen.

Blasphemy probably but I prefer the Emilia Fox 1997 version to the others. Did anyone ever read the sequel to Rebecca?

Love her. I hope she turns into a huge star. She’s gorgeous and made one hell of an Emma. 

Very true. I am not sure Rory was prepared to accept that. I can see her becoming a bitter woman in life. 

The town of Stars Hollow was the real villain of the show—a comfortable place that drains you of your ambitions and dreams.

Sad more episodes weren’t reviewed—I wonder if it would have risen above a B. I thought it was a solid show but a B was pretty spot on. The magical realism stuff with Death I think made the show drag and the show overall wandered, didn’t seem to have a clear purpose/direction. Also, there were some plot points I think…

I hope we see The Great and Plot Against America nominated in 21 or will it be too late for them then?

Very enjoyable season. I am glad Stephanie went so far! My final four was Gregory, Kevin, Melissa, and Brian V but it was still an enjoyable finale to watch. I hope this isn’t the last we see of Top Chef, but if it is, it’s a good send off.

I can’t watch the last few episodes of the New Orleans season knowing the chefs that get eliminated before Nicholas winning the whole thing. Painful to see Shirley, ect go down. And poor Stephanie. At least she got her redemption song this year. 

I didn’t care for Ugly Delicious at first but I watched a few more episodes past the first two and it really grew on me. A few people recommended Feeding Phil to my wife and I and we couldn’t stand him for more than 5 minutes. 

The character played by malin akerman has come really far! 

This is good so far. I love an 18th century bawdy romp. 

Brec Bassinger looks like Carrie Diaries Carrie Bradshaw a bit. JSA--I just think Jewish Student Association and get confused.
